Maintenance free protection and its predictable lifespan resulted in hot dip galvanizing being
selected to protect previously installed steel beams during a recent renovation project on Toronto's Don Valley Parkway.
Ten 65 foot steel beams, each weighing 20,000 pounds, were removed, zinc hot dipped at Pure Metal's largest galvanizing
facility and re-installed - avoiding any environmental damage and eliminating any necessity for on-site touch-up or future
costly repaintings.
